Do I have to pay to get into the event?

There is no entrance fee for Christmas In Oxford, however, there may be gifts, food and drinks you may want to purchase so please make sure you bring cash or a card. Tickets may be required for attractions and rides.

Yes, temporary event toilets will be located by the bar in Broad Street.

Is smoking permitted?

As an outdoor venue, smoking is permitted but please be considerate towards other visitors.

Can I bring my dog?

Yes, dogs are permitted but must remain on a lead at all times. However, the market can be very busy, especially at weekends, and therefore may not be a suitable environment for dogs. We welcome Assistance dogs to Christmas in Oxford.

Will Christmas in Oxford take place in bad weather?

Christmas in Oxford is an open-air event, so if it is raining, you might like to bring an umbrella or a raincoat and wellies! If the weather is particularly bad, the decision may be taken to close the event early for the safety of guests and staff.

Drones are not permitted.

What payment methods can I use at the market?

Most of our traders accept cash and cards, although card payments are preferable.
There are many cash points in and around Oxford City Centre should you require them.
